Discount Beads is owned and operated by two oldtimers, Dave and Ernie, both of whom spent their entire careers in corporate retailing.  Casting about for something to do in retirement, they thought they saw special opportunities in the world of beading.

They were right. The company has been successful right from the start, and continues to thrive even during these difficult economic times.

Frankly, neither Dave nor Ernie knows a great deal about beading. But their are six reasons why they don't need to. The names of the six reasons are Helen, Shannon, Citlaly, Nadine, Arlene, and Elise. These highly- valued employees are all designers who craft and sell their own jewelry, and are exceptional in their abilities to share their knowledge with our customers.

Just as importantly, they have all bought into the owners' old-school philosophies regarding the respect due every single customer passing through our doors. You will notice this when you visit.

Discount Beads is primarily a retail operation, also doing a wholesale business with licensed resellers.  As such, we have no plans to establish an on-line shipping operation.  However, if any regular customer has a special need for something from our retail stocks, we will happily send it along.

The store is open seven days a week, 10 AM to 6 PM.  With the exceptions of Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we are open on all holidays.

Our shop is located in the middle of a strip shopping center, on South Durango just south of West Flamingo.  (Look for the big word "BEADS" on the marquee sign.)  And if you need travel directions, just let us know.
